I’m excited to take a big step today and share a bit about myself—something I’ve rarely done publicly but feel is so important as I build deeper connections and embrace this new chapter in my life.
My name is Robert Little, and I’m a husband, father, Army veteran, and career coach driven by a passion for helping others succeed. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 25 wonderful years, and together we have three incredible children: Nicholas (23), Victoria (20), and Matthew (16). Our youngest, Matthew, was born with congenital CMV (cytomegalovirus), which has left him unable to walk, crawl, or speak. While this has brought its challenges, he is a constant source of inspiration and has made our family stronger and more grateful for life’s blessings.
When Matthew was born, I joined the Army to provide for my family and help with healthcare costs. I served five years active duty at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. After transitioning out of active duty, I joined the Florida Army National Guard, where I’ve proudly served for the past 12 years, supporting our community through eight hurricanes and COVID relief efforts. I currently serve as a Battalion Operations Master Sergeant, a role that continues to teach me the importance of leadership, resilience, and service.
In my civilian career, I’ve worked primarily in Operations and Client Success, leading and training thousands of team members while improving processes, developing strategies, and driving growth. Most recently, I served as the SVP of Client Success and a career coach, where I had the privilege of helping thousands of top executives find and land their next roles, often unlocking potential they didn’t realize they had.
Now, I’m embarking on my newest adventure: building Freedom University, a community where I can use my experience working with Directors, VPs and C-Suite at some of the largest organizations in the world to help mid-level professionals learn, grow, and thrive in their career. I want to share my years of experience, especially my expertise in mastering the interview, to help people achieve their goals with confidence. Through my free group, Pathway to Freedom, which will be launching soon, I will provide weekly training, resources, and networking opportunities to empower people to take their careers to the next level.
My mission is simple: to help as many people as possible unlock their potential, achieve their career dreams, and leave a legacy they’re proud of.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I hope you’ll join me on this journey, whether through Freedom University or our Pathway to Freedom group. Together, we can take bold steps toward your career goals and build something extraordinary!
